This Just In... M.I.A's baby's name is...

In this first addition of "This Just In..." M.I.A, pictured above pregnant and on her due date performing at the 2009 Grammy Awards, has released her son's official birth name...

According to M.I.A's new baby's birth certificate and, as she disputed on her blog, the baby's name is not "Ickitt"...

The real name happens to be Ikhyd.

According to the document, Mathangi Maya Arulpragasam {M.I.A} officially named her son Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman, common spelling.

In connecting news, M.I.A's birth date is listed as 7/18/75 which makes her real age 33.

M.I.A's family is of Sri Lankan Tamil descent.

She gained my attention with the hit "Paper Planes"
